The cup and stem are formed from the same gathers of glass after the optic twist pattern is applied to the outer layer of glass. Once the stem is stretched to the desired length a separate gather of clear glass is applied and spun into a foot while molten. Finally, the cup is finished by hand. Each piece is individually matched with its partner to form a unique pair of stemware. Hand wash. No hot liquids.
